Color & Quality Control

Brand Color Support

Measurement-supported color matching and digital workflows help protect brand standards across retail graphics and display components. PDP's color management approach supports consistent output, visual control, and production review before materials move to finishing and fulfillment.

TEC Lighting Megacoater UV flood coating system

Post-Print Coating

UV-Cured Protection

Precision Digital Printing has invested in a TEC Lighting Megacoater, a professional-grade offline UV liquid roller coater that delivers a complete flood coat finish on wide-format printed output.

Paired directly with our EFI Nozomi press workflow, the Megacoater applies a precision-controlled UV-cured liquid coating at speeds up to 90 feet per minute — sealing and protecting finished sheets in a single pass without slowing production.

What it means for your project:

UV flood coating is available across a wide range of rigid and flexible substrates, including corrugated board, PVC/Sintra, foam board, vinyl, and styrene. The coating fully seals the sheet against moisture — a capability we're finding has significant appeal for retail, POP display, and packaging applications where environmental exposure is a concern.

The coating also provides excellent scuff resistance through die cut feeders and throughout the supply chain, protecting graphics from the pressroom to the retail floor and in the field.

We offer three standard finishes:

  • Gloss — high-impact shine that makes colors pop
  • Semi-Gloss — formulated to match the look and feel of traditional litho aqueous coating, making digital output nearly indistinguishable from offset
  • Matte — a smooth, non-reflective finish for an upscale, understated look

All three coatings are specially formulated to maintain full adhesive adhesion — hot melt case erecting glues and display assembly components bond reliably to coated surfaces, so coating never compromises downstream fabrication or assembly.

Display-Ready Materials

PDP supports corrugated, coroplast, foam board, and other display-ready substrates. Final substrate suitability depends on project requirements — the PDP team can help identify the right material for your application during project review.

Versioning and campaign flexibility

Campaign Flexibility

Versioning and Campaign Support

Digital production supports seasonal, regional, promotional, and test-market print programs. When campaigns shift or timelines compress, PDP's workflow helps production partners adapt without the heavy setup of traditional plate-based production.

PDP production in Jonesboro, Arkansas and Orion design partnership in Chicago, Illinois

Two locations: Chicago, IL and Jonesboro, AR

Strategically Located

Midwest Strength, National Reach

We produce in a 100,000-square-foot facility in Jonesboro, Arkansas — a central position that places most national retail markets within efficient, cost-controlled freight range — while Orion's design and client partnership are anchored in Chicago. Together, the two locations give brands and buyers the responsiveness of a major-market creative hub paired with centrally positioned production, meaning shorter freight lanes, lower shipping risk, and faster reach to retail floors nationwide.
